Meteosat second Generation (SEVIRI)

rnThe aim of this OGSE instrument is to send some optical stimuli to rnSEVIRI (Spinning Enhanced Visible and IR Imager telescope) in order to rntest its main performances. The instrument is used in vacuum (10-6 rnmbar) to perform :

• geometric measurements (MTF andrncoregistration of SEVIRI) in dynamic and static configurations (therninstrument generates stimuli in similar conditions to the real valuernseen by SEVIRI) ;

• radiometric measurements (to perform the calibration of SEVIRI) ;

• polarisation measurements (measure of radiometric sensitivity to polarisation of SEVIRI).
